Reiki

Reiki is a form of energy healing which helps promote healing physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It has the ability to aid in reducing stress and anxiety, increase awareness, relaxation and overall wellness to provide inner growth and a more peaceful life. 

 

Reiki is not religious and there is nothing you must believe in order to benefit from a Reiki treatment. You don’t even have to believe in Reiki to benefit from a treatment and it will work no matter what you believe in spiritually. It is recommended that along with your treatment you try to lead a more balanced life, making healthy choices and a conscious decision to be in harmony with All, spreading compassion and love universally. This will start to happen naturally after receiving regular Reiki treatments.

 

The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words rei which when translated into English means “god” or”higher power” or “universal spirit” and ki which means “life energy” or “vital force”. Therefore when put together Reiki means universal energy or spiritual energy. 

 

When our life force energy is low or even stagnant we can feel depressed, suffer from anxiety or struggle with sickness  causing us to feel unwell and tired. When it is flowing freely we feel more balanced, our lives are filled with more joy and we do not often suffer from illness because our bodies are healthier and able to fight off bacteria, virus or disease. During a Reiki session your practitioner is working with your own energy to help find balance and lead a healthier, more enhanced quality of life.

 

Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of self-healing and self-improvement. There is nothing you need to do during a treatment except find a comfortable position and release into a state of relaxation. It treats the entire person including body, mind, emotions and spirit and has the ability to create deep relaxation, inner peace, warmth, universal love or feelings of safety and wellbeing. You may or may not feel something immediately, it can sometimes take a few hours, a few days or longer. Be gentle with yourSelf and your healing, it takes time.
